ActionVFX is seeking a Blender 3D Generalist to contribute to our high-quality 2D stock footage production. The role involves working with pre-designed assets provided by ActionVFX to create polished, visually compelling elements for compositors. We are looking for a highly creative, technically skilled, and self-motivated individual with expertise in 3D animation and rendering. The ideal candidate can take ownership of projects, managing them from concept to final output independently or collaboratively with our team. Flexibility and the ability to quickly learn and incorporate new tools and plugins into workflows are also key.

This role requires experience with Blender, rigged characters, animation, and rendering. Familiarity with crowd simulation tools in Blender is a strong plus. Scope of Work

Work with ActionVFX-provided assets to create high-quality 2D stock footage.
Refine and adjust animations to create variations and extend sequences.
Utilize crowd simulation plugins to generate dynamic and realistic scenes.
Set up lighting, cameras, and shadow catchers for professional-quality renders.
Render image sequences with appropriate passes for compositing workflows.

Requirements

Proficiency in Blender 3D for animation and rendering.
Experience with character rigs and animation workflows.
Familiarity with render passes, including EXR workflows, and general compositing.
Experience with Nuke or similar software is a plus.
