Full Job Description
ARCS Aviation is looking for a dedicated individual with a passion for business, marketing, and project coordination to join our diverse team. The candidate will work directly with management on business marketing efforts, project coordination, and become an integral part of the ARCS Aviation team. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a small business tackling Research and Development in the government and commercial markets.

Primary Responsibilities
- Work directly with management team to gain extensive knowledge on our business processes, products, and services.
- Assist in writing proposals, technical reports, progress reports, and other tasks needed to ensure the success of the project.
- Assist Project Manager/Lead Developer in leading team to complete assigned project on time with accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure the schedule, budget, and details of all projects are well organized.
- Assist with financial reporting.
- Prepare supporting proposal materials (resumes, graphics, quad charts).
- Proficient in Excel to utilize in tracking deliverables, deadlines, and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate kickoff meetings, internal syncs, and recurring status updates with project leads.
- Communicate effectively with a variety of team members regarding deadlines for reports/etc.
- Support equipment procurement (hardware/software orders, tax exemption documentation).
- Ensure compliance is met and maintained according to DoD regulations.
- Work efficiently alone and with a team to meet individual and company goals.
- Draft, edit, and present presentations to aid current projects and share with new customers.
- Maintain organized digital files, OneDrive folders, and trackers across teams.
- Research and monitor industry trends and create new customer service strategies to ensure we are delivering the best-in-class customer support.
- Collaborate with team members to develop and optimize marketing strategies.
- Build rapport directly with customers, partners, employees, and end-users remotely and in-person by communicating to them in a professional, empathetic, and captivating demeanor that intrigues them to learn more.
- Collaborate with management to innovate marketing and sales tactics and improve organizational structure.
- Stay informed on business processes, current contracts, end-users, ARCS solutions, and products to facilitate ads, miscellaneous write-ups, social media content, and press releases.
- Proficient at copywriting to convey the products and services we provide in layman’s terms.
- Research and monitor social media trends; engage on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
- Draft and distribute press releases, capability statements, one-pagers, and executive briefings.
- Plan and execute event marketing campaigns and design and order required print collateral (tri-fold handouts, brochures, and agency-specific capability materials, etc.).
- Create and manage rolling social media content calendars.
- Basic knowledge of video editing, uploading, and managing content in YouTube Studio.
- Update and maintain the company website in WordPress, including news, social content, and page refreshes.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Skills
- Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge and interest in project coordination.

- Public speaking and sales.
- Proficient in Adobe Suite products (not required, but a plus).
- Proficient in Canva or a similar design suite of choice.
- Proficient in Copywriting.
- Proficient in Excel/ other Project Management tools of choice.
- Proficient in collaboration tools (Slack, OneDrive, SharePoint).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or associate degree in business administration, marketing, or any other business-related field.
- 0-2 years experience in Business Management/Development, Project Management, Sales, Account Management, Client Relations, Customer Service, Marketing, or related field.
Travel
- This position may require occasional travel to come to our office (located in Cookeville, TN), to our customers, or conferences and trade shows.

We frequently work in remote, small teams to solve problems, explore new technologies, conduct research & development (R&D), and learn from each other. Most of our projects are in partnership with the Department of Defense (DoD) and various commercial clients. ARCS Aviation specializes in designing applications and utilizing other trending, exciting technologies to help reduce overall downtime and advance the end-user's operations and sustainment to increase overall mission readiness.
