About the role

We’re looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our team and help drive Bellhop’s growth. In this role, you will work directly with potential customers—connecting via phone or video calls to deliver the best moving solutions tailored to their needs. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you'll engage with pre-qualified leads, helping to convert them into satisfied customers by effectively communicating the value of Bellhop's services and guiding them through our service offerings. You’ll be the voice of Bellhop, making lasting impressions and ensuring an effortless transition for our clients.

Your primary mission is to guide potential customers from qualified opportunities through confirmed bookings, nurturing relationships across multiple touchpoints while offering expert guidance and support throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the Bellhop Expert: Your enthusiasm and expertise will set the tone for the customer’s experience, making their first impression of Bellhop warm, friendly, and trust-inspiring.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Conduct consultative sales calls to understand each customer's unique needs, offering customized moving solutions that highlight the value and flexibility of our services.
  • Timely Outreach & Engagement: Maintain rapid response times, ensuring customers feel heard, understood, and supported throughout their journey with Bellhop.
  • Master the Sales Process: Utilize our proven call, email, and SMS cadences to maximize conversions from leads to confirmed bookings, following up diligently to close deals.
  • Core & Upsell Services: Sell Bellhop’s primary moving services while identifying opportunities to upsell additional services that enhance the customer’s experience.
  • Seamless Customer Journey: From initial contact to job completion, you’ll guide customers through every step of the process—managing expectations, answering questions, and troubleshooting any concerns along the way.
  • Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the moving industry, including market trends and competitors, ensuring that customers choose Bellhop with confidence and satisfaction.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Experience: 1+ years of experience in direct sales, particularly in roles with a strong customer service focus.
  • Multi-tasking & Detail-Oriented: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads and customer inquiries at once without compromising quality.
  • Phone Skills: Comfortable spending a majority of your day on the phone, engaging with customers and providing them with tailored solutions.
  • Problem-Solving: Quick-thinking and adept at resolving issues over the phone, ensuring smooth communication and customer satisfaction.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM tools, Slack, Google Workspace, and modern sales stacks to streamline workflows and drive results.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to accommodate our customers' needs.

Compensation:

This role is a full-time (40 hours a week), hourly, non-exempt role. The compensation package for this role is a combination of an hourly rate and commission. The hourly rate may range from $12 -$15/hr based on experience. The total annual “On Target Earnings” for this role is $65k (hourly rate + commission).
