About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and versatile individual to lead our post-sale team within our Owner/Contractor Professional Services department. This is a player/coach role that is ideal for someone who excels in problem-solving, establishing and refining processes, at leading with a customer-first mindset. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with data, have a knack for optimizing business processes, and possess excellent leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Client-facing

  • Managing a Portfolio of Implementations: Oversee the successful execution of a portfolio of implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery, client satisfaction, and alignment with project goals. Provide guidance and support to the team managing their own portfolios.
  • Post-Implementation Client Management: Manage relationships with strategic / Enterprise clients post-implementation, ensuring continued satisfaction, engagement, and value realization from the SaaS platform. Support team members in their efforts to maintain and grow client relationships after implementation.
  • Training and Support: Partner with clients to determine training needs and develop necessary materials to ensure optimal client engagement and satisfaction with the platform.

Internal

  • Team leader: Lead team of Owner/Contractor Sr. Implementation Managers; providing strategic direction, coaching, and problem solving for the team
  • Playbooks: Develop robust playbooks for how Built will implement, train, and provide ongoing customer success for our clients
  • Business rhythms: Run weekly project review meetings to ensure high performing organization. Represent the Owner/Contractor Professional Services department at key internal meetings (e.g,. Monthly Business Review)
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Actively support cross-functional teams in identifying problems, enacting strategic improvements, and aligning with company goals. Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to contribute to these initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Generalist Approach: 8+ years of experience preferably in SaaS or construction industry. Requires broad understanding of various business functions and the ability to adapt to different roles and responsibilities as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Ability to anticipate potential pitfalls, develop solutions, and optimize business processes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Building Structure: Proven experience in establishing, refining, and optimizing business processes. Ability to develop playbooks and standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and high performance.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and problem-solving support. Experience in a player/coach role is highly desirable.
  • Customer Experience: Strong commitment to putting the customer first, ensuring their satisfaction and engagement with the platform throughout the implementation and post-implementation phases. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team interactions.

Built’s salary range for this position is $150,000-$190,000 USD per year. The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market. Salary is just one component of Built's total compensation package for employees.
