Senior Integration Solutions Engineer – Construction ERP Systems

Overview

We’re hiring a Senior Integration Solutions Engineer to join our team at Built. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and delivering ERP integrations that connect our platform with the systems our construction and real estate customers rely on—tools like Yardi, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, and Brix.

You’ll work directly with clients to understand their business needs, scope out the right technical solutions, and implement those solutions using a mix of APIs, scripting, and Built’s internal data tooling. This is a high-ownership, highly visible role at the core of how we deliver value to our customers.

Integrations are a key part of Built’s long-term platform strategy. In this role, you’ll help lead that evolution - bridging real estate and construction systems with modern infrastructure in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Customer-Facing Integration Support

  • Lead technical discovery with clients to understand ERP workflows and integration needs

  • Act as the technical lead during onboarding and implementation

  • Help clients adopt Built’s platform through tailored integration approaches

Solution Architecture & Implementation

  • Design and build integrations using APIs, file-based workflows, and Built’s internal ETL tooling

  • Adapt solutions to client constraints (e.g. batch file drops, middleware)

  • Develop integration specs, data mappings, and error-handling documentation

  • Ensure performance, reliability, and data accuracy throughout the integration lifecycle

Technical Troubleshooting & Delivery

  • Analyze and resolve integration-related issues, often under tight time constraints

  • Own timelines and delivery commitments—you’ll be responsible for scoping what’s feasible and delivering it

  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve integration tools based on real-world use

Qualifications

Required

  • 3+ years in an integration engineering, implementation, or solutions delivery role

  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication protocols (OAuth2, JWT), and data formats (JSON, XML)

  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, or shell

  • Hands-on experience integrating with ERP systems such as Yardi, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, or Brix

  • Able to lead solution design discussions with clients and execute with minimal hand-holding

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, “figure it out” environment with shifting needs

  • Familiarity with middleware platforms (e.g., Mulesoft, Zapier, Workato)

Preferred

  • Background in real estate tech, construction tech, or PropTech

  • Experience supporting invoice, accounting, or project data integrations

  • Bonus if you’ve worked as a developer or architect and want to stay hands-on while owning customer outcomes.

Attributes That Thrive Here

  • Delivery mindset — you don’t just spec solutions, you build and ship them

  • Customer-first — you listen, ask great questions, and adapt your approach

  • Self-starter — you don’t wait for all the pieces to be in place

  • Builder mentality — you want to shape how this work gets done, not just follow a script

The pay range is designed to accommodate upward mobility in the role, therefore it encompasses the full span of proficiency levels for this role and we believe that the midpoint of the range is competitive in the market.
