Lead Deployment Engineer
Dextrous Robotics
Dextrous Lead Deployment Engineer will be responsible for operating DX-1 in customer facilities and training personnel to operate DX-1 in customer facilities. This person will be working side-by-side with customers to maximize DX-1 performance and minimize impacts to their operations, and they will be in continuous contact with our operations team to report, troubleshoot, and perform minor repairs and maintenance on DX-1 .

Responsibilities will include:
Managing operators at other facilities
Operating DX-1 and managing trailer unloading in customer facility
Collaborating with our operations team to collect data on robot's performance
Troubleshooting robot hardware / software issues
Ensuring safety protocol is followed
Collaborating with operations team on improving field operation protocol based on actual performance
Documenting setup and operation for training personnel
Necessary qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in mechanical or software engineering or 3 years work experience in a related field.
Experience with sophisticated hardware and/or software
Excellent communication skills and/or experience leading a team or project
Experience performing repairs or conducting maintenance on mechanical or electro-mechanical systems (cars, bicycles, home appliances, RC cars, etc.)
Working knowledge of Linux
Working knowledge of network technologies such as VPNs, firewalls, and routers
Capable of lifting 50 lbs. without assistance
Useful, but not required:
ROS experience
3D printing enthusiast
