Role OverviewWe are seeking a former rehabilitation clinician who has moved into sales to own a geographic territory and win new independent inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) accounts for our Rise&Walk InClinic robotic platform. This is a consultative, largely remote-led sale (video discovery and demos with clinical specialists on tap), backed by roughly one field day per week for late-stage meetings and site visits. You will carry a new logo quota and own your territory end to end, from prospect to close.
Key Responsibilities - Own a defined territory; prospect, qualify, and close net-new independent IRF accounts.
- Run consultative discovery and product demonstrations (primarily by video), bringing genuine clinical credibility to conversations with therapists and rehab leadership.
- Carry an annual new-logo quota and maintain a healthy, well-qualified pipeline (target ~5 qualified discovery meetings per month).
- Spend roughly one field day per week on late-stage meetings and site visits; attend 2-4 industry conferences per year.
- Maintain disciplined CRM hygiene and deliver accurate, honest forecasts.
- Partner with marketing, clinical, and sales-development teammates to convert pipeline into closed business.
- This is a true new-business development role. Success requires proactively creating opportunities, opening new accounts, and driving complex sales cycles from initial outreach through contract execution.
Candidate ProfileThis role is built for a former clinician who has moved into sales. Real clinical credibility (ideally a licensed Physical Therapist) with hands-on experience in an inpatient rehabilitation (IRF) or long-term acute care (LTACH) setting is essential, paired with proven, competitive sales drive. We hire experienced sellers; we do not train first-time salespeople.
- Clinical credibility: a former clinician, preferably a licensed PT (DPT), who speaks directly and credibly with therapists and rehab leadership.
- Competitive sales drive: plays to win, energized by quota, hunting, and closing.
- Consultative communicator: runs credible clinical and economic conversations with rehab directors and executives.
- Resilient and self-directed: high activity, owns the territory, needs little hand-holding.
- Mission-minded: motivated by restoring mobility for patients.
Basic Qualifications - Former clinical experience in physical rehabilitation; a licensed Physical Therapist (PT/DPT) is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on clinical experience in an inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) or long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting.
- 2+ years of medical device, capital equipment, rehabilitation technology, or healthcare sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota. We hire proven sellers, not first-time sales hires.
- Willingness to travel approximately 20-25% (field days, site visits, and conferences).
- Authorization to work in the USA (we do not sponsor H1B).
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications - Clinical experience in a setting that used rehabilitation robotics or other advanced rehab technology.
- Capital-equipment or capital-budget experience (how facilities budget for and purchase capital equipment).
- Medical-device or capital-equipment sales into hospitals or inpatient rehabilitation facilities.
- Subscription / Robotics-as-a-Service or capital-lease sales experience.
