In this role, you will…

  • Respond to customer inquiries and requests received via phone, fax, email and other company systems within the required timelines.
  • Actively listen and work with customers to research and resolve a wide variety of issues, appropriately escalating issues when necessary.
  • Triage inquiries requiring response by a risk consultant to the appropriate consultant within the required timelines.
  • Function as an expert on MedPro’s website to assist customers with self-serve functions, including login, continuing education courses and other patient safety and risk resources.
  • Demonstrate accuracy in processing/communicating information to customers and documenting available information in appropriate MedPro systems.
  • Assist and facilitate risk management correspondence and communications to internal and external customers.
  • Assist with new operational team projects, participate in strategic planning, development of standard operating procedures, implementation, and ongoing quality improvement efforts.

We are looking for candidates with…

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred). High school diploma or equivalent with related experience will be considered.
  • Previous experience in customer service.
  • Ability to defuse escalating situations while maintaining composure with customer to resolve the issue.
  • Proven ability to work on a team or operate independently.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel and being able to learn various company systems to a high level of competence.
  • Ability to succeed in high volume environments requiring personal organization, multitasking, & regular reprioritization with short turnaround time on items of high impact.
  • Experience in researching and accurately resolving technical subject matter while working under pressure and within time constraints.
