We are seeking a Data Architect who will help stand up Enterprise Data Warehouse and over arching logical data architecture within the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) team. As part of the data architecture team you will be responsible for developing data solutions for each data request and creating logical data models and dataflow diagrams. This candidate must have knowledge of data architecture concepts and modeling tools such as ER Studio and Erwin. In addition to experience and in-depth knowledge of Relational and dimensional modeling concepts candidate must be familiar with Data Governance processes.

This role will work closely with Business Analysts of various business domains as well as technical architects across EDM and Ops/IT. Excellent communication skills are vital, including the ability to influence functional and technical designs across the solution.

In this role, you will…

  • Work with Business Analysts to understand business requirements and come up with a data solution within current environments.
  • Define and design reference architecture and functional design of Enterprise Data Management solutions including in conjunction with broader Enterprise solutions.
  • Develop key architecture artifacts such as conceptual/logical data models, data flow diagrams, etc.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the various supported business areas to ensure solutions fit various business needs. Including through collaboration with senior leaders and business SMEs as well as other technical team members.
  • Develop and provide the appropriate level of governance to data design processes.
  • Support an enterprise data warehouse solution which integrates a combination of synchronous and batch data with MDM gold copy data to provide Operational Data Store (ODS) functionality.
  • Ability to work throughout the entire Development Lifecycle from translating business requirements through consulting with development and testing teams to ensure the intended design is met.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

We are looking for a candidate with…

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, and a demonstrated pursuit of related continued education.
  • Proficient technical resource with 5+ years of Data Architecture experience.
  • Working knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM) methodology.
  • Bonus Skills:
    • Recognized certification(s) such as DAMA Certified Data Management Professional or TOGAF Certification Program.
    • Experience with ER Studio Data Architect.
    • Experience within the insurance industry.
    • Academic knowledge of AWS.

General: MedPro Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. The annual gross base salary range is $100,000 to $131,000. This range anticipates the low and high end of the salary for this position. Actual salaries will vary and are based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and competencies. Salary is one component of MedPro’s total compensation and benefits package, which includes medical, vision and dental insurance options, life and accident insurance, 401(k), and short-term and long-term disability insurance.
