Role Overview
The Partner & Ecosystem Marketing Lead is responsible for bringing the company's partner ecosystem to market. Reporting to the SVP, Partnerships & Ecosystem, this role translates ecosystem strategy into compelling messaging, marketing assets, and joint go-to-market programs that drive awareness, partner engagement, and customer adoption.
This is a highly hands-on role. The successful candidate personally creates high-quality content and GTM assets—including solution briefs, one-pagers, launch messaging, marketplace listings, customer stories, and sales enablement—while partnering across Product, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, and Partner teams to execute.
Together with the SVP, Partnership Leads, and Technical Partner Leads, this role ensures strategic partnerships are commercially successful, technically differentiated, and effectively brought to market.
Key Responsibilities
Ecosystem Positioning & Content
- Develop and own the "Better Together" messaging for strategic partners.
- Create joint value propositions, solution briefs, one-pagers, launch content, customer stories, and executive messaging.
- Translate technical capabilities into clear, customer-focused value propositions.
Go-to-Market & Marketplace
- Lead marketing execution for partner launches and ecosystem campaigns.
- Own marketplace positioning, listings, offers, and activation in collaboration with partner teams.
- Build repeatable GTM frameworks for partner launches, campaigns, and marketplace programs.
Cross-Functional Execution
- Partner with Engineering, Product, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Customer Success, Developer Relations, and Partnerships.
- Ensure ecosystem messaging is embedded across launches, campaigns, enablement, and customer communications.
- Deliver sales enablement materials and partner-facing assets that support co-sell and joint marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- 8+ years in Partner Product Marketing, Product & Solutions, Ecosystem Marketing, Alliance Marketing, Strategic Alliances, or Technology Partnerships within enterprise software.
- Proven experience creating high-quality marketing assets and executing GTM programs.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft and cloud partner ecosystems, commercial marketplaces, and co-sell motions.
- Experience working with ISVs, APIs, integrations, and developer ecosystems.
- Exceptional storytelling, writing, and executive communication skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and execution without direct authority.
Success Measures
Success is measured by the ability to consistently translate partnership strategy into market impact by:
- Delivering compelling "Better Together" positioning and GTM assets for every strategic partner with focus on hyperscale's and Technology Partnerships, focused for now in the Azure specific domain
- Executing successful joint launches and marketplace activations.
- Increasing marketplace engagement and partner-sourced pipeline.
- Providing high-quality enablement content in conjunction with enablement teams that accelerates partner's sales product and customer adoption.
- Embedding ecosystem messaging consistently across Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partnerships.
