Senior Events Marketing Manager (Contract)

Location: Remote (US)

The Role

Founded on the principle of democratizing access, first to music in 1999 and now to creative expertise, Napster has consistently been at the forefront of transformational technology shifts that expand markets and empower users. The company’s latest platform turns passive consumers into active creators, providing the interface layer between foundation AI models and human creativity. For more information, visit napster.com.

Reporting to the Global Head of Communications, the Senior Events Marketing Manager will own the cross-functional project management of Napster’s presence at major global industry conferences and trade shows, including CES, NRF, and more. This is not a design or content role. You are the air traffic controller for the event portfolio: timelines, logistics, budgets, and the coordination that unites Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, and Product behind flawless execution. When Napster shows up at a tier-1 event, it runs because you built the machine that runs it.

What You’ll Do

Run the operation

  • Build, maintain, and enforce detailed project timelines, master checklists, and delivery schedules for all third-party events.
  • Oversee core operational logistics end to end: contract negotiations, booth orders, union labor schedules, AV, and housing blocks.
  • Manage the line-item event budget and track vendor payments. The number is yours.

Unite the teams

  • Act as the primary liaison between Sales, Product, and Executive Leadership to coordinate staffing, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Lead weekly syncs, publish pre-event briefing packets, and run training sessions so every person on site knows their schedule and their job.
  • Work closely with Communications so event moments, PR, and executive visibility reinforce one story.

Turn attention into pipeline

  • Partner with Marketing Operations to manage data capture pipelines, ensuring on-site lead retrieval flows seamlessly into HubSpot.
  • Deliver post-event operational reports detailing cost-per-lead and performance against target metrics.

Deliverables

  • Master project timelines, checklists, and delivery schedules for each event on the calendar
  • Pre-event briefing packets and on-site staff training for every tier-1 activation
  • Clean lead flow from the event floor into HubSpot
  • Post-event operational reports with cost-per-lead and target metrics

Impact

This person makes Napster’s biggest public moments run. Trade shows are expensive, chaotic, and unforgiving. The Senior Events Marketing Manager turns that chaos into a repeatable operating system, protecting the budget, keeping cross-functional teams accountable, and converting event spend into measurable pipeline.

What You’ll Bring

  • 5+ years managing large-scale B2B event portfolios and operations, specifically within SaaS or enterprise technology.
  • A proven track record running the operational logistics and cross-functional moving parts of tier-1 conferences like CES, NRF, AWS re:Invent, or Dreamforce.
  • Expert-level proficiency with project management platforms (Asana, Jira, or Monday.com) to keep remote, matrixed teams on schedule.
  • Practical familiarity with enterprise CRM and marketing automation systems (HubSpot) and event management tools (Cvent, Bizzabo).
  • Exceptional structural thinking, timeline management, and the ability to drive accountability across executive and remote teams, in plain language free of unnecessary jargon.
  • Ability to travel up to 30-40% to oversee on-site operations and coordinate teams during peak event weeks.

We’ll be extra pumped if you have

  • Hands-on experience using AI tools as part of your own event and project management workflow.
  • Experience running event operations in both startup and larger, established marketing organizations.
