Title: Enterprise Account Executive
Reports to: SVP Global Sales
Level: Individual Contributor
Location: Remote - USA (East and Central time zones)
About Napster:
Founded on the principle of democratizing access, first to music in 1999, now to expertise in the AI era, Napster has consistently remained at the forefront of technological shifts that empower users. Today, the company builds embodied, multimodal AI agents that engage employees and customers where they already work: through video presence, voice, and text. Designed to work alongside people rather than replace them, Napster’s agents carry institutional knowledge into every interaction, elevating the user’s experience and improving business outcomes. The Opportunity:
We are looking for a fast, commercially sharp Enterprise Account Executive who can help build Napster's US market from the ground up. You will own the full sales cycle, but this role starts before the first sales conversation: working out where Napster has the strongest right to win, identifying the companies and buying signals that matter, opening the doors and turning those opportunities into signed enterprise revenue.
This is not a role for someone looking to inherit a mature territory, a full calendar of SDR meetings or a perfectly defined playbook. It is a build role for someone who can operate at two levels at once: credible enough to engage senior executives in large enterprises and hands-on enough to research accounts, test messaging, prospect creatively and create opportunities from scratch.
You will sell outcomes, not AI for the sake of AI. The people who win here can diagnose what a customer actually cares about, connect Napster's capabilities to a valuable use case and build a quantified story around revenue, conversion, customer experience, service cost or operational efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Build the market: Research industries, companies and buying signals to identify where Napster should focus. Build and continuously refine your own target account universe rather than waiting for a fixed territory or finished ICP.
- Create pipeline from scratch: Generate most of your early pipeline through intelligent outbound, your network, events, referrals, partnerships and creative account entry.
- Own the full cycle: Prospect, qualify, shape the opportunity, pitch, negotiate and close net new business across high-potential consumer-facing enterprises.
- Sell outcomes not features: Run insight-led discovery and build a quantified value story grounded in the customer's use case, KPIs, economics and urgency.
- Penetrate strategic accounts: Open doors at senior level and multi-thread across business, ecommerce, customer experience, technology, security, operations, procurement and finance.
- Shape solutions that can scale: Partner with Product and Solutions Engineering to tailor demonstrations, business cases and pilots around clear success criteria and a credible path to production.
- Expand the relationship: Turn the first successful use case into broader, multi-use-case enterprise adoption.
- Run a disciplined process: Maintain accurate CRM data, next steps, pipeline and forecasts. Move quickly without losing commercial rigor.
- Help build the playbook: Feed market signal back to Sales, Product and Marketing so Napster can sharpen its ICP, messaging, use cases and go-to-market motion.
What Success Looks Like:
- You identify the pockets of the US market where Napster can create the greatest commercial value and explain why.
- You create meaningful, qualified enterprise pipeline rather than relying on inbound demand.
- You establish senior relationships while building the broader stakeholder map required to move complex deals forward.
- You turn measurable customer problems into high-value use cases, commercially credible pilots and signed enterprise contracts.
- You learn quickly from the market and improve how Napster targets, positions and sells.
Key Qualifications:
- Approximately 6 to 10 or more years in B2B technology sales, with meaningful experience in enterprise new business.
- A proven record of personally sourcing and closing six-figure enterprise deals, ideally including opportunities worth $250K or more.
- Evidence that you have created a territory, market or sales motion where brand awareness, use cases or buying criteria were still developing.
- Experience selling emerging, transformational or technically complex solutions that required customer education and consultative selling.
- Strong experience with consumer-facing businesses, ideally across ecommerce, retail, customer experience, contact center, digital transformation or related markets.
- Enough technical fluency to work comfortably with AI, SaaS, APIs, data, integrations, cloud and enterprise architecture without needing to be an engineer.
- Excellent executive communication, discovery, presentation, negotiation and commercial judgment.
You’ll likely thrive here if:
- You are a builder.
- You enjoy starting with a blank sheet and can decide which companies to target, why they matter and who you need to reach.
- You do not need an SDR team to fill your calendar and you are comfortable personally creating a significant share of your pipeline.
- You can present credibly to a CMO, CDO, CIO or CX leader, then spend the next hour researching an account, writing outreach or mapping stakeholders.
- You are intellectually curious about how companies make money, where they lose it and where technology can materially change the economics.
- You move fast, test hypotheses and change direction when the evidence says you should. You are resilient, commercially ambitious, low ego and highly accountable for results.
- You are energized by opening new relationships, not just maintaining the ones you already have.
- You enjoy the work of creating an enterprise opportunity as much as the work of closing it.
Benefits:
- Paid Time-Off: Flexible vacation time and 10 company holidays.
- Health Plans: Robust medical, dental, and vision plans for you and your dependents. Disability, life insurance, and FSA benefits are also available.
- Wellness: Access to Teladoc and an EAP.
- Parental Leave: Paid leave.
- Retirement Savings: Contribute pretax earnings to our 401(k) Plan.
Our Culture:
- Impact: Play a crucial role in our growth journey.
- Culture: Join a vibrant team valuing creativity and collaboration.
- Growth: Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
