PaintJet is redefining the industrial painting market by introducing advanced robotics, AI and material sciences to optimize the coating process. Our automated approach tackles the systemic labor shortage by focusing on increasing painter productivity and precision application while reducing material waste. We are hiring a Compliance Manager, to ensure operational excellence as we scale the company nationwide. This role requires a proactive approach to compliance management and a commitment to upholding industry standards.

The Impact You'll Make in This Role:

The Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing training to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. The Compliance Manager will work closely with project managers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain a high level of compliance across all projects.

As PaintJet’s Compliance Manager, you will:

  • Partner with customers (General Contractors) to provide documentation required on each project, such as, certificates of insurance, payroll expended, safety protocols and warranties.
  • Prequalify PaintJet for future projects with new customers by providing certain documentation.
  • Apply for various items like new licenses and grants with State and Federal agencies.
  • Obtain lien waivers from subcontractors.
  • Work with leaders to develop, implement and track project applications and new software.
  • Evaluate and manage technology tools suite used by the team to maximize collaboration, ideation, and efficiency.
  • Facilitate and maintain relationships with company’s vendors and partners.
  • Coordinate with Finance to maximize cash flow.
  • Promote strong team culture that embodies PaintJet core values
  • Be a thought leader, maintaining up-to-date knowledge on industry and technology trends

Education & Work Related Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a compliance-related role, preferably in the construction or painting industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.
  • Prior military experience dealing with Dept of Defense filings of required documentation preferred.
  • Currently has or ability to obtain Notary Public license.
  • Proven strong planning, organizing, communication, and execution skills.
  • Ability to formulate new systems, processes, policies and procedures into an organization.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas and information clearly and persuasively.

Target Salary Range: $45,000 to $50,000 annually + potential productivity bonus

Work Hours: This position requires the incumbent to be available during core business hours

Work Location: Remote, but may be required to travel occasionally to client sites.
