OUR MISSION

Imagine building a better healthcare journey for cancer patients, where individuals and their loved ones feel seen, supported, and heard by their care team – both in and out of the clinic. Where fast access to high-quality care is the norm, not the exception. Where patients have access to a care navigator to guide them through their diagnosis and trusted support all along the way.

At Thyme Care, we share a passion for transforming the cancer care experience – not just for patients but also for their caregivers and loved ones, as well as those delivering and paying for their care. Today, Thyme Care is known predominantly as a cancer care navigation company enabling value-based cancer care; in the next few years, we will become a nationally recognized technology-driven and provider-centric care delivery model, reshaping the landscape of cancer care access, delivery, and experience. Our commitment runs deep—we're not satisfied with the status quo but determined to redefine it.

To make this happen, we’re building a diverse team of problem solvers and critical thinkers to drive innovation and shape the future of healthcare. If you share our vision and want to be part of something truly meaningful, we want to hear from you. Together, we can revolutionize cancer care and make a difference that lasts a lifetime.

YOUR ROLE

As Senior Manager of Care Delivery Operations, you will drive the development and optimization of care team operations infrastructure, efficiency, and effectiveness. This role is critical to scaling and optimizing Care Delivery as we expand our services, requiring close cross-functional collaboration. You’ll apply project management and analytical skills to drive strategic initiatives and build scalable programs and processes.

In order to hit the ground running, we expect you to have a proven track record for building and improving complex processes in a healthcare startup environment. You will report to the Director of Care Delivery Operations, and will interface with organizational stakeholders including Clinical, Network Operations, Partnership Operations, Product, and Data. You will work remotely with the option to work from our Nashville office.

Within your first three months, you will:

  • Develop a thorough understanding of Care Delivery near-term priorities and longer-term initiatives.
  • Conduct structured observations to identify failure points and optimize throughput across Care Delivery processes.
  • Lead efforts to enhance operational efficiency and ensure seamless, streamlined processes across the Care Delivery team.
  • Assist in providing policy and procedure document management oversight and support.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, including partnership and vendor implementations
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on operational metrics and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Support Care Delivery leadership enablement through queue and metrics data pulls, monitoring, trending, and remediation.
  • Become a key cross-functional partner to Product, Data, Clinical and across Care Delivery.

On an ongoing basis, you will:

  • Contribute to program scalability and value by identifying opportunities and resolving issues to standardize, refine, and improve processes.
  • Own the full lifecycle of cross-functional projects, including scoping, impact analysis, project plan, stakeholder management, risk mitigation, timely execution, and driving measurable improvements.
  • Design, implement, monitor, and optimize pilot programs, ensuring alignment with company goals and measurable outcomes.
  • Support departmental leadership by taking on mission critical and ad-hoc assignments and projects.
  • Foster a positive culture of collaboration, effective communication, prioritization, problem solving, and continuous improvement.

WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS

  • Act with our members in mind. You’re personally motivated by our mission and by what we are building. You seek to understand problems and help people solve them, especially this one.
  • Operational orientation. Creating and improving processes is second nature for you. You have a track record for building repeatable, reliable, and efficient controls in healthcare strategy and operations.
  • Effective communicator and coach. You are persuasive and articulate, but you always start by listening. You build rapport, trust, and great working relationships with colleagues both within and outside of your team.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You have a proven track record of success within scaling businesses, fast-paced environments, and/or startups. You understand that rapid changes to the business, strategy, organization, and priorities is par for the course.
  • A passion for learning and mastering new technologies. We are a technology company focused on interacting with folks during the season where they need it most. You’re adept with tools like Zoom, Google Suite, Slack, Linear, electronic health records, and Excel (can perform complex functions).
  • Move with purpose. You’re a self-starter and don’t need anyone to tell you when to do something. No task is too small or too big; you're adept at solving problems, prioritizing effectively, and going the extra mile to support others.
  • Cultivate innovation. You introduce new ways of looking at problems, and can successfully operationalize the solution.
  • Seek diverse perspectives. You are humble and proactively seek feedback from others. You’re always looking to learn, grow, and collaborate with others to achieve shared objectives.
  • Culture carrier. You’re curious, resilient, have a growth mindset, and are committed to fostering a positive environment.
