UTS is dedicated to expanding the reach of this innovative drying technology to industrial and commercial dryers.**Job Description:**UTS is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team. The Technician will play a crucial role in testing, modifying, repairing, or machining instrumentation and engineering parts. The primary objective of this position is to collaborate closely with engineering and quality control teams to ensure the seamless development of our products.**Job Responsibilities:**- Testing: Perform a variety of sample testing after the initial training period.- Repair: Perform various repair operations, including mechanical assembly/disassembly, grinding, media blasting, calibration, and more.- Machining: Execute diverse tasks involving testing, CNC machining, and 3D printing.- Inventory: keeping an updated list of inventory and ordering low inventory parts.- Documentation: Utilize the company's document control system to create necessary documentation for tracking device modifications.**Qualifications:**- Detailed oriented, and patient for performing repetitive testings.- Good grasp of fundamental mechanical principles.- Proficient in hands-on mechanical skills.- Ability to interpret manufacturing drawings.- A creative thinker and effective problem solver.- Self-motivated and proactive.- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.- A basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word.- Preferred skills: Experience with at least one CAD software (Fusion 360 is preferred).**The number of hours per week:**- Full time 40 hours per week / Part-time a minimum of 20 hrs per week- Offering flexible time**Annual starting salary:**- $15-25/hour, based on experience- Healthcare- Paid Time Off- Flexible Work Arrangement**Location:**10820 Murdock Dr, Suite 104, Knoxville, TN, 37932**How to apply:**To apply, please submit a resume and any relevant academic transcripts or portfolios to [info@ultratechsol.com](mailto:info@ultratechsol.com).
