Job Description: Due to continued growth, our business unit has an opening for a full-time Electrical Engineer.As an Electrical Engineer, you will be:• Assisting the engineering team on project-based work involving new designs/modifications and upgrades to custom power amplifiers driving matrices of piezoelectric transducer arrays.• Working under Senior Engineers, utilizing and expanding your background in Electrical Engineering.• Assisting in preparation of engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.• Working on tasks for project reporting, including project management, tracking/evaluating activities, progress, and analysis.Essential skills and experience:• Expertise in PCB design, fabrication, and manufacturing.• Circuit design: design, develop, and fabricate electric circuits, particularly high-efficiency amplifier drives for piezoelectric transducers.• Strong problem-solving; ability to create and implement innovative approaches.• Experience developing complex circuits from scratch, generating Gerber files for PCB production, good soldering skills, and troubleshooting.• Self-starter, proactive, able to work independently with minimal direction.• Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.• Ability to quickly identify/prioritize issues, create solutions, and meet deadlines.• Familiarity with UL requirements in early product development.Preferred Qualifications/Requirements:• U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.• Minimum 3.5 GPA strongly preferred.Estimated hourly pay: Competitive.Location: West Knoxville, TN.How to apply: Forward your resume to info@ultratechsol.com.
