Company Overview: Leading engineering firm specializing in designing and developing mechanical systems for various industries, serving clients including NASA, DOE, ARPA-E, and clients in building materials, textile, paper & pulp, and carpet industries.Job Description: Seeking multiple motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineering Interns for Summer 2023 to work closely with experienced engineers and gain hands-on experience in designing, testing, and analyzing mechanical systems.Responsibilities:- Assist in designing and developing mechanical systems, including CAD modeling and drafting.- Conduct testing and analysis of mechanical systems and components.- Conduct experimental investigation and testing.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project timelines.- Attend and participate in team meetings and project reviews.Requirements:- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical Engineering or related field.- Strong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar).- Knowledge of engineering principles and practices.- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.Duration: Approximately 12–16 weeks during Summer 2023, with possibility of extension or conversion based on performance and business needs.Location: 10820 Murdock Dr, Suite 104, Knoxville, TN, 37932.Compensation: $15–25/hour, based on experience.Application Instructions: Submit resume and any relevant academic transcripts or portfolios to info@ultratechsol.com.
