Perform structural sizing and integrity evaluations of future design concepts
Finite element analyses of engine components and complete assemblies using best modeling practices
Produce structural configuration layouts and detail designs including preliminary sizing and joint layouts of parts and assemblies employing metallic and composite materials
Coordinate with other disciplines in support of design configuration trades, constraints, and decisions
Design, develop and test structural components and assemblies
Continuously evaluate new configurations and design improvements to minimize flight weight while maintaining structural integrity
Write technical reports that are accurate and comprehensive to be peer-reviewed by other team members
