About the Role

Whisper Aero is seeking a talented and versatile Communication Designer to join our Design Team in Nashville, TN. This is a high-impact, multidisciplinary role where you'll help shape and evolve how our story is told across digital and physical platforms. You’ll be responsible for crafting compelling visual assets that externalize our work—from web design and printed collateral to branded video content and marketing campaigns.

You'll collaborate closely with our design lead, product team, and marketing team to ensure cohesive storytelling that amplifies our brand and products. This is a unique opportunity to build the visual language of a frontier technology company while working across mediums such as Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Final Cut Pro, and 3D/AI-assisted tools.

What You’ll Do

Graphic Design: Create elegant and impactful visuals for internal and external use
Brand Storytelling: Develop marketing materials for social media, conferences, print, and web
Brand Identity: Contribute to branding strategy from logo creation to font and asset development
Web Design: Evolve and maintain Whisper Aero’s digital presence through thoughtful UI/UX
Print Collateral: Design and prepare assets for print, with attention to layout, sizing, and print specifications
Packaging Design: Develop compelling, brand-aligned packaging solutions that merge visual impact with functional design
Video/Animation: Edit videos and animate 3D assets to help communicate complex design ideas
Color & Materials: Collaborate on color, material, and finish explorations that align with product design

Basic Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship, as this position may access export-controlled data
Based in or willing to relocate to Nashville, TN
1–2+ years of professional experience in communication, brand, or graphic design
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Graphic Design, Branding Design, Communication Design, or related field
Strong, diverse portfolio that highlights your ability to tell a brand’s story through design. Candidates without a portfolio will not be considered
Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Blender, etc.)
Comfortable balancing self-directed work with collaborative, cross-functional projects
Skilled at adapting brand aesthetics across print, digital, and video media
Awareness of design trends with an eye for premium and deep-tech brand expression
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience working with leadership teams
Experience editing and synthesizing video content for marketing purposes

Bonus Qualifications

Ability to animate 3D CAD data and produce static or motion visuals
Experience in fast-paced startups
Familiarity with aerospace, automotive, consumer electronics, or deep-tech sectors
